Blue Dot
The Blue Dot shows at the top-right of your Tools button when there is work waiting in the Area you are in. Click it and the camera takes you there. When all the work is done, the Blue Dot goes away.
The Blue Dot appears when
- Loot is on the ground and ready to be picked up.
- Plants are ready to harvest: Crops, Trees, Shrubs, Grapevines, and Water Crops.
- Plant Beds are empty: Crop Fields, Shrub Beds, Grapevine Beds, and Tree Beds with nothing planted.
- Foraging Plants are growing wild. These appear only on your Farm, in Bellflower Meadow, in the Factories, and at the Water Sawmill.
- In Bellflower Meadow, after completing the Across the River Quest, Tree Seeds and resin are on the ground.
Click the Blue dot, pick it up, harvest it or plant it. Then click the Blue Dot again for the next one.

It does not appear for
- Anything in a part of the map you have not unlocked yet.
- Pheasant feathers. Many players save them for Competitions, so they never turn it on.
- Asparagus.
- An Apple Tree while its Rotten Apples chance is still running, if Rotten Apples warning is on in Settings.
Clicking the Blue Dot
When you click the Blue Dot, the camera takes you to one thing at a time, in this order:
- Loot on the ground, the one nearest to Joe first.
- Plants ready to harvest.
- Empty Plant Beds.
- Foraging Plants.
- In Bellflower Meadow: Tree Seeds and resin.

When you hover over over it
- A tooltip tells you what is waiting.
- With the Daily Player badge you get Blue Dot Premium. The tooltip counts each kind: loot, Plants ready to harvest, Plant Beds ready to plant, foraging Plants and Pheasant feathers.
- Without the badge, the tooltip only says Plants/Trees ready!
- Keep the mouse on the dot for half a second. A “What’s with this Blue Dot?” button shows (the blue info one). It opens this page.

Loot and Joe’s Backpack
- In Bellflower Meadow, the dot changes color to red when Joe’s Backpack is full.
- Also in Bellflower Meadow, the Blue Dot gets a green circle around it when you’re near the Old Shack, where Joe can unload his Backpack.
- When 50 or more pieces of loot lie on the ground, Joe is unable to clear more trees, bushes etc. Pick up your loot first. Click the Blue Dot to find it.

The Mine
- The Mine has its own Blue Dot, at the bottom right of the screen.
- It counts one thing only: loot lying in the rooms. The tooltip reads Loot to pick up inside the Mines: and the number.
- Click it. The screen moves to the loot nearest to Joe and an arrow points at it.
Rewards
- Your Daily Tasks can hold a Blue Dot Reward. Clear the Blue Dot on your Farm to get it.
- Complete the Daily Tasks and clear the Blue Dot to earn the Daily Player badge.
