Speed Up Crop Growth | Greenhouses & Water Well
Want to grow crops faster? A Greenhouse reduces crop growth time by 25%, while a Water Well with Sprinklers reduces it by another 25%. Use both together to reduce growth time by 50%.

Want to reduce crop growth time by 25%? Build a Greenhouse!
The Greenhouse is available in the Shop’s Gear tab from Level 10 and costs 15,000 Coins.
Place the Greenhouse kit on an empty area of your Farm and click it. Do not place it over crops — the Greenhouse must be completed first.
To finish building it, you need:
- 25 Pipe Stacks
- 25 Glass Panes
Ask your friends for these materials or buy them with Ranch Cash.
Once completed, the Greenhouse can hold 24 crop plots and reduces their growth time by 25%. Click its glass panes to plow, plant, and harvest. You can also use the Plow Tool to add more plots inside.
For another 25% growth-time reduction, build a Water Well and install Sprinklers on the plots inside the Greenhouse.
To open or close all your Greenhouses at once, click the Automation Panel (the icon with two gears) in the lower-left corner and select the option you want.
PS: If you place a Greenhouse from your Warehouse, make sure you have enough free space for it. If you place it over the 6×4 plots it can hold, leave at least ¼ of a plot of space on each side for the frame of the Warehouse.
Water Well
The Water Well unlocks your Farm’s irrigation system. Once built, you can install Sprinklers on plots to:
- Reduce crop growth time by 25%.
- Grow water crops such as Cranberries and Watercress. These crops can only be planted on plots with Sprinklers and already include the 25% growth-time reduction.
Building the Water Well
The Water Well is available in the Ranch Shop’s Buildings tab from Level 20. It costs 25,000 Coins, and you can have only one Water Well on your Farm.
Place the Water Well on your Farm and click it. To complete it, you need:
- 25 Water Well Stones
- 8 Wood Beams
- 15 Irrigation Pipes
- Help installing 1 Water Pump and 1 Drilling Gear
Use the Ask button to ask friends for materials or to request help to install the Water Pump and Drilling Gear. You can also buy the materials with RC.
Upgrading the Water Well
Upgrade your Water Well to expand your irrigation system and place more Sprinklers.
Click the finished Water Well to see the materials needed for each upgrade. At Level 1, you can install up to 50 Sprinklers.
Get & Install Sprinklers
Buy Sprinklers from the Shop, or click Ask in the Water Well menu to request more from friends.
To install Sprinklers:
- Open Barn & Warehouse and go to the Gifts tab.
- Click Use below a Sprinkler.
- Click a plot or crop to install the Sprinkler.
If you delete a plot with a Sprinkler installed, the Sprinkler is returned to your Warehouse.

Water Crops
Cranberries and Watercress are currently the only Water Crops in Country Life Meadows. They can only be planted on plots with Sprinklers installed, so you must first build a Water Well.
Important: Water Crops already include the 25% irrigation growth-time reduction shown in the Shop. They cannot be planted without irrigation.
For example, Cranberries show a 4-hour growth time in the Shop:
- Irrigated plot: 4 hours — 25% faster
- Irrigated plot inside a Greenhouse: 2 hours 40 minutes — 50% faster
The normal growth time without irrigation would be 5 hours 20 minutes, but Cranberries cannot actually be planted on a non-irrigated plot.
